Global rap superstar Drake has been announced as the headline act for all three nights of Wireless Festival 2025, marking a historic moment for the event’s 20th anniversary at Finsbury Park, London.
The Canadian rapper will take the stage from July 11 to 13, delivering a unique setlist each night, promising an unforgettable experience for fans. The festival will also feature major names such as Burna Boy, Summer Walker, and Vybz Kartel, while PARTYNEXTDOOR, who recently released a collaborative album with Drake, just announced that he would be joining the star-studded lineup.
Drake’s Wireless residency will be his first performance in the UK in six years. His last notable appearance was a surprise set in 2018, where he stepped in for DJ Khaled as the headliner.
The announcement comes amid reports that Drake is taking legal action against Universal Music Group for allegedly manipulating streaming figures to boost the success of Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us”—a move that has reignited tensions in their long-running rivalry.
A spokesperson for Wireless Festival described Drake’s three-day run as a “groundbreaking moment”, emphasizing that he has been the festival’s most requested artist since its inception. “His Finsbury Park residency marks a moment never before seen at Wireless. Holding the title for the audience’s most requested artist, his presence will be a milestone, further solidifying his legacy in Wireless’ story,” the festival’s spokesperson said.
Organizers also confirmed that Summer Walker’s appearance will be a UK-exclusive for festivals this summer, while Burna Boy will be making his Wireless debut, adding to the excitement surrounding the anniversary event.
With a historic lineup and Drake’s multi-night takeover, Wireless 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated festivals of the summer.
