What started as A Walk in the Park in 2008 for British born rapper/songwriter Giggs, has surpassed the imagination and expectations of what many thought was his ceiling years ago! With a total number of recording sales eclipsing 1 million sales and streams to date according to (Soundscan and International Rights Organizations), the rapper known as Hollowman has gained the respect of the industry as a formidable force to be reckoned with. And Rightfully so! As the flames from his 2023 album ‘Zero Tolerance’ have yet to be extinguished, the album continues to burn airwaves from the streets of the UK to all corners of the world. Just this week, the BPI officially certified Giggs’ hit single “INCREDIBLE SAUCE” feat. Dave with the Silver Certification. Giggs unique blend of trap and rap has garnered him a faithful fan base that has shown unwavering support for him for nearly two decades and counting.
Released August 2023, the ‘Zero Tolerance’ album was just as the title states, “a declaration of his stake in the game, and no tolerance of disrespect would be tolerated’. The Zero Tolerance album stamped his place in hip-hop and upped the ante to those to follow. Marking his 6th studio album, Zero Tolerance is one of those just push play and let it ride moments that come far and in between these days. The album was a 18-track banger perfected with precision with production from the likes of AP, Jon Glass, David Morse, Dizzy Banko, CuBeatz, Daniel Taylor, AzizTheShake, Cage, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and Giggs himself. The entire album is a smash with guest appearances from Jadakiss, Popcaan, Dave East, 21 Savage, Potter Payper, Holy, Jerry Green, and Lojay, but “Incredible Sauce” featuring DAVE was the track that straight up slapped! The wordplay, along with the fire beat projects an intoxicating vibe, taking listeners into another dimension.
While busy playing shows across the world, Giggs continues to reciprocate the love by pushing the envelope of creativity in his music. It’s a genuine love for the art that separates Giggs from the field which has become saturated as of late; however, Giggs finds ways to stay relevant and guided on the work at hand, and we appreciate that.
