Already! Ya can Stamp that. Let me introduce those of you who may have been living life under a rock lately. Meet Karri, a smooth young playa from the Bay that has been laying it down for the past 5 years. Karri first jumped on our radar in 2021 with the release of ‘Rosetta’. It was at that moment, we knew he was a movement. Since, Karri has been kicking ass and taking names with his signature style of r&b, fused with a high octane melodic rap flow that is the perfect compliment to any vibe. As stated, the new project from Karri is slated to be released this Friday entitled “Late Nite Slider Music” with the visuals for the single going viral as we speak.
There is one thing that is evident, Karri is definitely connected with Ties. Yes, he is part of the famalia that has become anonymously known for making dreams reality. From one glance of the visuals, one can tell you there is only one city that ride swangas, pop trunk, and let the 5th wheel fall – H-Town is in the house! With that being said, rumor is that OVO Chubbs has the project on repeat. Sounds like a match made in heaven. In a world of strife and make believe, its a good sign to see the Family remains solid on business.
Karri, is the new wave of artists that understand the value of hard work. Just a month or so, Karri dropped “Oakland pt. 2” which showed his passion for his city. In March, the single “Impromptu” ran up nearly 1 million streams in just over a month. The sound is relaxing, playa, and a vibe that gets ya in the mood. Whether you heading to the club, or to the Telly, its a play. Reportedly the EP will feature 6-tracks as a prelude to a full feature album in 2025 with hopefully a cameo from Champagnepapi himself, who knows. We can’t wait, Karri is Out of Here~
