“I want listeners to know that pain and heartbreak doesn’t last always. There’s nothing wrong with being happy and allowing lessons to lead to bigger blessings” Laid3 says.
Growing up in East St. Louis shaped his outlook on life and fuels his desire to inspire others from underserved communities.
“A lot of the folks from my neighborhood don’t make it out, but I did. I want the world to witness that successful people come from nothing” he says.
His ambitions stretch beyond music. This fall, Laid3 will launch Straight Like That, a podcast focused on culture, entertainment, and spotlighting artists on their own journeys toward success. Ultimately, Laid3’s goals center around family and impact.
“I want to build a solid foundation for my son Ashton and my future kids and grandkids…” he says.
