The Recording Academy has unveiled its highly anticipated list of Lifetime Achievement Award recipients for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, set to take place in February 2025. Among the distinguished honorees are legendary artist Prince, R&B icon Frankie Beverly, pioneering rapper Roxanne Shanté, gospel trailblazer Dr. Bobby Jones, Frankie Valli, Taj Mahal, and The Clash. The 67th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The main Grammy Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and streamed on Paramount+.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes artists who have made an indelible impact on the music industry through their artistry and influence. The Recording Academy will also bestow the Trustees Award on jazz pianist and composer Erroll Garner, renowned producer and engineer Glyn Johns, and acclaimed composer Tania León. This award is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to music outside of performance.
Furthermore, the prestigious Technical GRAMMY Award will recognize Dr. Leo Beranek for his groundbreaking work in acoustics and his pivotal influence on modern sound technology.
